IST2008 is hosted by the Iran Telecom Research Center. It will highlight the most recent developments in communications and information technologies that include new concepts, theories, technology creation, services, network infrastructure and network management matters. IST2008 will be convened in Tehran, the capital city of Iran. The city and the province are full of ancient and touristic sites that all enjoy visiting. The weather is very pleasant in August when IST2008 will be held.
